Artist statement:
Reflector is a turntable built around light and reflection. Its metallic and mirrored surfaces — in silver, red, and blue — catch the light around them and change colors as the record spins. When the music plays, these shifting tones blend with the built-in rainbow lighting system, creating a dynamic play of color across the entire body.

Reflector doesn’t shine light outward — it collects it, bends it, and multiplies it. The mirrors on the chassis bounce the colors back and forth, so the light seems to move with the rhythm of the music. The remote-controlled lighting adds soft transitions from one color to another, making the whole turntable glow and pulse.

A circular light ring on the edge of the platter strengthens this effect. As the record rotates, the ring forms a glowing halo that traces the motion, creating a simple but hypnotic light effect.

Reflector turns listening into a visual experience — a mix of motion, reflection, and shifting color. The circular light ring symbolizes continuity: the steady return of light, sound, and movement with every spin of the record.
